Department of EXTC, On 11th and 12th, conducted a hardware 24 hour hackathon in the department partnered with Industry. All the problem statements were from Industry and prizes were sponsored by them for a pool of 50K. 81 teams registered across 5 domains and we selected 25 for participating physically. There were two rounds one for mentoring and one for selection for 9 finalist teams. Out of which SPIT team emerged winner and 3 FCRIT teams won 2nd and 1st runner up and a spot prize for innovtion. Interestingly the spot prize was won by first year students ! It was an exciting journey from ideation to implementation with our strong faculty- student team..!
