Accreditation of academic programs provides assurance that the programs meet the quality standards of the profession for which they are intended. NBA accreditation of engineering degree programs facilitates the mobility of engineering graduates at the international level, including enhanced employment opportunities in multinational companies under the Washington Accord treaty signed by India.

In view of achieving the stated mission to maintain high standards of education envisaged by the founder, the institute focuses on quality education and the overall development of students. The institute firmly believes that a motivated workforce comprising faculty, staff, and students is a significant factor in institutional success. Therefore, the institute’s mission is in sync with the objectives of NBA, which aims to promote high-quality technical education.

The institute has been accredited by NBA as enumerated below:

1. In 2006 for 3 years vide F. No. NBA/ACCR-771/2005 dated 27.07.2006.
2. In 2012 for 2 years for all programs vide F. No. 28-41/2010-NBA dated 14.11.2012.
3. In 2018 for 3 years for three programs (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) vide F. No. 28-41-2010-NBA dated 18.12.2018.
4. In 2019 for 3 years for the remaining two programs (Computer Engineering and Information Technology) vide F. No. 28-41-2010-NBA dated 20.11.2019.
5. In 2022 for 3 years for four programs (Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) vide F. No. 28-41-2010-NBA dated 14.06.2022, valid till 30/06/2025.

Currently, work is in progress to obtain institute-level accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) , which focuses on the overall developmental aspects of the institution in the context of quality assurance.
