Ever since it’s inception Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology, Vashi has established itself as one of the leading Engineering Colleges in Mumbai nurturing quality education, supported by its excellent results in the University examinations. Our College has been granted “Christian Religious Minority” status by Government of Maharashtra and 51 % of total seats for the Undergraduate and Masters Program, in each branch, are reserved for candidates belonging to the ‘Christian Religion’. Step 2: Centralized Admission Process

After seat allotment by the CET Cell and successful seat acceptance, candidates are required to report to the Institute (as per the deadline given by CET Cell).

Code of Conduct

The rules and regulations set by the management and principal are designed to maintain academic discipline, foster a conducive educational environment, and instill student responsibility.

Discipline

Strict discipline must be maintained within and outside classrooms, labs, and library. Politeness, courteous conduct, and groomed attire are mandatory at all times.

Dress & Appearance

Students must strictly follow the prescribed formal dress code. Unacceptable hairstyles or informal attire are not permitted inside the campus.

No Disturbance

Use of radios, musical instruments, or mobile phones that cause disturbance to academic activities is prohibited on campus.

Smoking Prohibition

Smoking is strictly prohibited in classrooms and all college premises. Zero tolerance policy applies.

Institution Property

Any damage to furniture, equipment, walls, buildings, or institutional property shall attract severe penalties.

Breach of Discipline

Insubordination, misconduct, or malpractice may lead to permanent expulsion or suspension as decided by the Head of Institution.

Identity Cards

Identity cards must be carried at all times. Students must submit photographs after enrollment. Duplicate cards will be charged.

Attendance

Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory. Failure to meet this will result in detention. Medical certificates do not compensate for shortage.

Associations & Outsiders

No union/society formation or invitation of outsiders is allowed without prior permission from the Director and Management.

General Rules

Students must abide by guidelines issued by the Director.
Regular attendance at classes is mandatory.
Identity cards must be carried and produced on demand.
Project and assignment submission is compulsory.
Students lagging academically must attend tutorials.
Misconduct may lead to expulsion from the institution.

Library Rules

Identity card is mandatory for library access.
Silence must be maintained inside the library.
No discussion or personal belongings allowed.
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
Borrower cards are non-transferable.
No food or refreshments allowed.

Zero Tolerance for Ragging

The Institution strictly follows AICTE regulations for prevention and prohibition of ragging in technical institutions. Any student found involved in ragging activities will face strict disciplinary action, including immediate suspension.
